Delegate Booking Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all Bookings for MacAD.UK 2027. By purchasing a ticket, Hotel Package, or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions

Throughout these Terms & Conditions:

1.1. "Organiser" means Jigsaw Systems Limited (trading as Jigsaw24 and MacAD.UK), registered in England and Wales, with a registered address The Old Mill, High Church Street, New Basford, Nottingham, England, NG7 7JA (Company No. 02682904).

1.2. "Event" means MacAD.UK 2027 together with any associated networking events organised by the Organiser.

1.3. "Attendee" means the individual attending the Event.
-
1.4. "Booking" means the purchase of any conference ticket or conference and hotel package.
-
1.5. "Hotel Package" means a conference ticket purchased together with overnight accommodation arranged by the Organiser.

2. Booking Confirmation
-
2.1. All Bookings are subject to availability.
-
2.2 A Booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully received by the Organiser and a confirmation email has been issued.

2.3. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse any Booking at its discretion.

3. Conference Ticket
-
3.1. Unless otherwise stated, conference tickets include:
-
3.1.1. Admission to both conference days.
-
3.1.2. Access to all conference sessions (subject to room capacity).
-
3.1.3. Entry to the MacAD.UK Community Social.
-
3.1.4. Refreshments and catering provided during the Event.
-

3.2. Conference tickets do not include:
-
3.2.1. Travel.
-
3.2.2. Accommodation (unless purchased as part of a Hotel add-on).
-
3.2.3. Parking.
-
3.2.4. Personal expenses.
-
3.2.5. Additional food or beverages outside those provided by the Event.

4. Ticket Pricing
-
4.1. Ticket prices are released in a number of pricing waves.
-
4.2. Wave 1 and Wave 2 ticket allocations are strictly limited.
-
4.3. Once a ticket allocation has sold out, that pricing cannot be reinstated.
-
4.4. All prices displayed include UK VAT at the prevailing rate.

5. Hotel Packages
-
5.1. Selected ticket add-ons include overnight accommodation at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole.
-
5.2. Hotel Packages include accommodation only for the night(s) specified at the time of booking.
-
5.3. Additional nights are not included and must be booked directly with the hotel.
-
5.4. Hotel add-ons are available only while allocated rooms remain available.
-
5.5. Hotel room preferences, including accessible rooms, twin rooms or double rooms, are subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed by the Organiser.

5.6. Any incidental charges, room service, parking or additional hotel services remain the responsibility of the guest, and a credit card will need to be provided by the guest at check-in.

6. Payment
-
6.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by the Organiser.

6.2. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel unpaid bookings.

7. Cancellation Policy
-
7.1. Conference Tickets
-
7.1.1. Conference tickets may be cancelled up to six (6) weeks before the Event.
-
7.1.2. For MacAD.UK 2027, this deadline is: 27th January 2027.
-
7.1.3. Where cancellation is received before this deadline, the conference ticket value will be refunded in full.
7.1.4. No refunds are available after 27th January 2027.

7.2. Hotel Packages
-
7.2.1. Where accommodation has been purchased as part of a Hotel add-on the hotel element of the Booking is non-refundable from the point of purchase.
-
7.2.2. If your Booking is cancelled before 27th January 2027, only the conference ticket element will be refunded.
-
7.2.3. The hotel charge will remain payable.

7.3. Failure to Attend
-
7.3.1. No refunds or credits will be issued for:
-
failure to attend
-
late arrival
-
early departure
-
missed sessions
-
failure to use the hotel booking
-
-
-
-
8. Ticket Transfers
-
We appreciate that plans sometimes change.
-
8.1. Conference Tickets
-
8.1.1. Conference tickets may be transferred to another individual at no additional charge. Requests must be received no later than seven (7) days before the Event.
-
8.1.2. Transfer requests should be submitted to: macad@macad.uk
-
8.1.3. The Organiser reserves the right to request sufficient information to complete the transfer.

8.2. Hotel Packages
-
8.2.1. Hotel bookings may also be transferred to another guest.
-
8.2.2. Requests must be received no later than 30 days before the Event.
-
8.2.3. Following this deadline, hotel Bookings cannot be amended.
-
8.2.4. Additional nights booked directly with the hotel remain subject to the hotel's own booking terms and not the Organiser.

9. Event Programme
-
9.1. Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the published programme, the Organiser reserves the right to:
-
9.1.1. amend the agenda
-
9.1.2. change speakers
-
9.1.3. substitute exhibitors
-
9.1.4. alter session timings
-
9.1.5. amend room allocations
-
9.1.6. modify networking activities
-
9.1.7. change venue layouts
-
-
9.2. Such changes shall not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
-

10. Event Cancellation or Postponement
-
10.1. Should the Event be cancelled or postponed, the Organiser will notify attendees as soon as reasonably practicable.
-
10.2. Where the Event is cancelled, the Organiser will provide appropriate options which may include:
-
10.2.1. transfer of the Booking to a rescheduled event
-
10.2.2. transfer to a future MacAD.UK event
-
10.2.3. a refund
-
-
10.3. The Organiser shall not be liable for:
-
10.3.1. travel costs
-
10.3.2. independently booked accommodation
-
10.3.3. visas
-
10.3.4. loss of earnings
-
10.3.5. any indirect or consequential losses
-
-
-
11. Photography & Recording
-
11.1. Photography and filming will take place throughout the Event.
-
11.2. By attending, you consent to the Organiser using photographs and video recordings containing your image for:
-
11.2.1. future event promotion
-
11.2.2. websites
-
11.2.3. social media
-
11.2.4. printed marketing
-
11.2.5. editorial purposes
-
-
11.3. Attendees wishing to avoid being photographed should notify the registration desk upon arrival.
-

12. Code of Conduct
-
12.1. MacAD.UK exists to provide a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment.
-
12.2. All attendees agree to:
-
12.2.1. behave professionally
-
12.2.2. treat fellow attendees, speakers, exhibitors and staff with respect
-
12.2.3. refrain from harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour
-
12.2.4. comply with reasonable instructions from the Organiser and venue staff
-
-
12.3. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is considered inappropriate.
-
12.4. Removal from the Event for failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will not entitle the Attendee to a refund.

13. Commercial Activity
13.1. MacAD.UK is a community event. Unless attending as an authorised exhibitor or sponsor, Attendees may not do any of the following without prior written consent of the Organiser:-
13.1.1. promote commercial products or services

13.1.2. distribute marketing materials
-
13.1.3. undertake organised sales activity
-

14. Health & Safety
-
14.1. Attendees must comply with:
-
14.1.1. all venue regulations
-
14.1.2. reasonable instructions from venue staff
-
14.1.3. health and safety requirements communicated before or during the Event
-
-
14.2. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry where necessary for health and safety reasons.

15. Personal Property
-
15.1. Attendees remain responsible for their own belongings throughout the Event.
-
15.2. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for:
-
15.2.1. lost property
-
15.2.2. theft
-
15.2.3. damage to personal possessions
-

-
16. Liability
-
16.1. Nothing within these Terms limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful. Subject to 16.1:
-
16.1.1. attendance is entirely at the Attendee's own risk
-
16.1.2. the Organiser accepts no responsibility for travel disruption or accommodation booked independently
-
16.1.3. the Organiser shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses
-
-
16.2. The Organiser's total liability shall not exceed the total value of the Booking.

17. Force Majeure
-
17.1. The Organiser shall not be liable for any delay, alteration or cancellation resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to:
-
17.1.1. severe weather
-
17.1.2. natural disasters
-
17.1.3. fire
-
17.1.4. terrorism
-
17.1.5. industrial action
-
17.1.6. government restrictions
-
17.1.7. public health emergencies
-
17.1.8. utility failures
-
17.1.9. venue closure
-

18. Data Protection
-
18.1. Personal information collected during the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy here.

19. General
-
19.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19.2. Failure by the Organiser to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of its rights.

19.3. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Organiser and the Attendee relating to the Event.

19.4. Notices. Notices required or permitted to be given under these Terms must be in writing (including without limitation by email) addressed to the relevant party at its registered office or principal place of business, or as stated in the Booking information.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
