The entrance to our new home at Brighton Dome

Your 2026 venue:
Brighton Dome

MacAD.UK 2026 will take place at Brighton Dome, right in the heart of one of the UK’s most vibrant, creative cities. Set in a stunning historic building that’s hosted everyone from ABBA to David Bowie, the Dome gives us the space, character and atmosphere to do MacAD.UK properly, with plenty of room for talks, networking and quiet moments alike.

It’s a space that feels special, but never stuffy. And being just minutes from the beach, independent cafes, and the iconic Brighton Lanes doesn’t hurt either.

Why Brighton Dome?

We’ve always loved hosting MacAD.UK in Brighton – there’s something about the mix of seaside calm and creative energy that just works. The Dome takes that to the next level. It gives us:

  • A central, accessible location that’s easy to get to from London, across the UK, and overseas.

  • Flexible spaces for talks, breakout sessions and exhibitors, all under one roof.

  • A proper sense of occasion, thanks to its unique architecture and cultural history.

Where to stay

There’s no shortage of accommodation in Brighton, from boutique hotels to big-name brands. These are a few local options that offer a good balance of comfort, convenience and value:

My Brighton

Quirky, stylish, and just a 2 minute walk from the venue.

Premier Inn Brighton City Centre

Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront

A reliable budget option 5 minutes from the Dome.

An 8-minute walk from the Dome and right on Brighton seafront.

Ibis Brighton City Centre

Good value and just a short walk to both the station and the Dome.

Queens Hotel

Slightly further down by the seafront but still walkable, with sea views and a pool.

We recommend booking early. We will endeavour to keep the list above in line with hotels with availability but please note Brighton is a popular spot year-round, and rooms close to the venue are likely to go quickly.
